1. Scope of Inspection:
   • Observed backfill placement and compaction for the water line (locations from Lot #1 through #15) and Redi Rock Retaining Wall #2 and SSFM in the front of Lots #177, #178, #187 and #197.
   • Verified compliance with project drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
2. Key Observations:
   • Water Line, SSFM line and Retaining Wall#2 Work:
     • Backfill placement and compaction continued, for SSFM and water line,
     • Redi Rock Retaining Wall #2 at creek crossing: Proper use of base course material, No. 57 crushed stone, and Geo-Grid placement in wall construction.
   • Compaction Practices:
     • 1-foot lifts placed for the water line and SSFM line, compacted using 6-ton pad feet and trench compaction equipment.
     • Testing and Results:
       • Compaction tested with:
         • ASTM D 2937: Standard Test for soil density using a drive-cylinder.
         • General probing with a 3/8″ probe rod.
       • Results: The majority of compacted materials met the project requirement of 95% maximum dry density per ASTM 698.
3. Conclusion:
   • The report verifies adherence to the specified requirements. The testing data supports the quality of the construction activities observed.
