Observations/Finding

The down cut and  backfill activity was done as usual with several heavy duty machines being employed. These are:

1) Two 745C heavy duty hauling trucks,

2) One 815F CAT packer,

3) One 349E CAT excavator and

4) One 61Pxi Komatsu bulldozer.

The required dirt was hauled from the nearby down cut location. And the moisture of the dirt is within the range of plus 3 and minus 3 range, but today in the wet side. The compaction was in the range of 95% and 97%.

The backfill location was in Lots 104 and 105 and both lots are now backfilled to a subgrade. Lot#106 which was almost close to subgrade was backfilled with two lifts and is now at subgrade.

The test for Lot#119 which did not pass yesterday was packed today, tested and pass.
