Observations/Finding

The routine down cutting and back fill I activity was conducted during the day. This was done using the various heavy duty machines such as:

1) Two 745C hauling trucks,

2) One 815F CAT Roller,

3) One 349E CAT excavator,

4) 61 Pxi Kamatsu bulldozer.

The backfill was on Lot# 106, 120 & 119 aligned in about EW direction. The total area was about 250×112 square feet. The three Lots were backfilled to a subgrade.

The dirt was hauled from a nearby downcut location and was in a good agreement with the proctor. The compaction was in a range of 96% and 102%, which was pretty good.
