Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Nature walk: lot 1055 & 1056

  • Upon arrival, the contractor ASG has finished removing the dirt from lot 1055 (61*103.5) with volvo EC300El and started back fill with CAT 953K.
  • First layer of fill is started and compacted with the Hyundai HR 70c
  • Compaction testing was performed using a Troxler nuclear density gauge, along with general probing using a 3/8″ diameter probe rod on the lot 1035.
  • Density test results indicate that compacted materials did meet the project requirement of 95% of the maximum dry density obtained by a Standard Proctor ASTM 698. compaction suggestions are made to the superintendent, and also Visual analysis of dump truck Proof rolling is approved taking the instructions from the Head office.

Seven Hills: Amenities

  • Upon arrival, the contractor was engaged in removing the stacked dirt near the Pickle ball court parking and on the roadway using a Komatsu PC 360LC and cut from the west of the job site. Dirt was being transported with two tandem dump, while dozing and leveling were performed with a Komatsu D85EX for the next layer and compaction with CAT563E.
  • Next layer of fill is started on the pickle ball court and car parking.
  • rocks and Boulders are found in the back fill, necessary instructions are made for the proper compaction using the proof roll method and also using D85EX.
  • all the slopes are dozed, corrected and levelled with Komatsu 39PX.
  • Compaction testing was performed using a Troxler nuclear density gauge, along with general probing using a 3/8″ diameter probe rod on the Club house area, Visual Observation with Proof rolling is approved.
  • Density test results indicate that compacted materials did meet the project requirement of 95% of the maximum dry density obtained by a Standard Proctor ASTM 698. compaction suggestions are made to the superintendent, also the Visual analysis of dump truck Proof rolling is approved taking the instructions from the Head office.
