Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

• Upon arrival, the contractor was engaged in excavation using a Komatsu PC 360LC at the North (roadway) of the project site. Dirt was being transported with two tandem dump trucks near the Tennis Court on the Slopes, while dozing and leveling were performed with D85EX. Compaction work was carried out using a CAT 563 E.
• Boulders are used in backfilling under the tennis court and necessary instructions like proof rolling are made for the proper compaction.
