Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day:

Location:
Concourse D (Core locations provided by CW Matthews)

Objective:
To observe six depth cores at specific locations as requested.

Core Observations:

• Core Measurements:
  • Core 1D: 23 inches
  • Core 2D: 22 3/4 inches
  • Core 3D: 22 1/4 inches
  • Core 4D: 22 1/4 inches
  • Core 5D: 22 inches
  • Core 6D: 21 1/4 inches
• Seal Core Observations:
  • Six additional seal cores (labeled 1S-6S) were obtained and observed by the onsite contractor.

Handling of Cores:
All depth and seal cores were handed over to the onsite contractor for further analysis or review.

Quality Assurance:
No Quality Assurance (QA) personnel were present during the observations.

Conclusion:
No further observations or issues were reported on-site.

This report summarizes the observation of six depth cores and six seal cores from Concourse D, with all samples provided to the onsite contractor for further action.
