Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
The above-mentioned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative, visited the Naturewalk at 7 Hills Amenities site to conduct quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to ensure compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on-site:
- Rock Volume Determination for the blast was performed on this date: Rock volume was determined
based on the attached drill logs. Drilling was performed on the days leading to today and depths to
top of rock and termination was recorded. - Drilled 176 blasting holes and completed 99 blasting locations.
- The total quantity of mass rock shot on this day was calculated to be 2,742.2 cubic yards.

- At the time of arrival, the contractor (Advances Explosives) started the drilling process with Drill Rig Ranger DX800 for the controlled next scheduled blasting. Visual examination is done on the soil samples.
- Excavation (Komatsu PC 360LC), transport (Tandem Off road Dump truck), levelling (Komatsu D85EX), Komatsu 39PX and compaction (CAT CS563 E Sheep toe) of fill @NE of the construction site, continued this day.
- Boulders were absorbed in the excavation and made a note to the backfilling foreman (Francisco) for back filling instructions on boulders.
- Larger boulders more than 2′ on all sides are break into small pieces with Deere breaker 350G lc.
- Compaction testing was performed four times using a Troxler nuclear density gauge (30942), along with general probing using a 3/8″ diameter probe rod. few observations and necessary changes are suggested to foremen (Francisco).
