Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes and material submittals.
The following observations were observed on the site this day.

• The roadway along the north side of the permanent storm water pond (dimensions of L=200 feet, Width=35 feet, Depth=4 feet), were found to be soft and wet and unstable.  Continued removal of these wet soils and replacement/compaction of drier materials continued.
• Excavation and preparation of trenches for placement and installation of storm water lines and manholes and sewer lines and manholes progressed.
• Installation and placement of sewer lines and manhole SSD4 continued.
• Installation and placement of storm water lines and MH CIA4 progressed.
• One (1) foot lifts were being placed and compacted between storm water manholes CIA3 and CIA4 using trench packer (BMP8500) equipment.
• Work was in progress at the construction entrance road with one (1) foot lifts being placed and compacted using sheeps-foot (CP54B) and (D51PX) equipment.
