Observations/Finding

As requested the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes and material submittals.
The following observations were observed on the site this day.

• The placement and compaction of backfill soil at the construction entrance down hill was in progressed using sheep food (CP54B), (RA30), (D51PX) and (CAT330) equipments.
• Construction and placement of 2+00,25 feet long segmental retaining wall section #D was completed.
• Construction and placement of 4+18,50 feet long segmental retaining wall section #B was in progressed.
• Excavation and preparation of foundation for placement and installation of storm water pipes and main holes was in progressed.
• Installation and placement of storm water main holes # CBA8, CIA9 and A10 was in progressed.
• 01 foot lift being placed and compacted at the backfill area of segmental retaining wall section #B using sheep food (CP54B), (SD45B) and trench packer (BMP8500) equipments.
• At the time of arrival our representative observed that the work was in progress at the construction entrance down hill and 01 foot lift being placed and compacted using sheep food (CP54B) and (D51PX) equipments as well.
• Density test results indicate that the compacted material met the project requirements of 95% the maximum dry density obtained by the (Standard Proctor ASTM 698).
