Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
Retaining Wall B Construction Report
Courses running north to south were placed on Retaining Wall B, with the footing details previously discussed in the July 11th report. Compaction was completed using a trench packer (see attached photo). Drains and geotextile fabric were placed (see attached photo). It was observed that the modular blocks were filled with No. 57 stone. The third course had less than acceptable compaction, and additional compaction was recommended. No further observations were made on this day.
