Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Request Summary:

A request was made at the end of the day on Friday, July 12, by the wall foreman (Angel) to be on site for wall compaction testing at 7:30 AM on Saturday, July 13.

Site Visit Details:

• Date: Saturday, July 13, 2024
• Scheduled Arrival Time: 7:30 AM
• Actual Arrival Time: 7:30 AM
• Observation Period: 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM

Observations:

Upon arrival at the site at 7:30 AM, no personnel were present. The site was observed from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM, and during this period, no one arrived on site.

Conclusion:

Due to the absence of personnel on site within the observation period, wall compaction testing could not be performed as scheduled.

Recommendations:

• Reschedule the wall compaction testing and ensure confirmation from all relevant parties.
