Observations/Finding

At the request of the client’s representative, our AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative visited the job site to observe the contractor’s work activities from a quality standpoint to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals and conducted QC testing per the project drawings and specifications.  The following observations were made on site this shift:

The ASEC Engineering representative arrived on site and was informed that the contractors canceled work due to the onset of rain. Our ASEC representative will be notified once these soils are scarified and aerated.

Observations:

1. Backfilling Activities:   Rain Event
2. Storm Drainpipe Installation:  Rain Event
3. Compaction Status: Rain Event

Conclusion: The ongoing backfilling and storm drainpipe installation activities will progress as planned once the site dries out.
