Observations/Finding

As requested, our AS Engineering & Consulting representative was on site to observe daily activities.  The following were observed this day:

• The placement of backfill soils for the DOA Fiber infrastructure duct bank and installation of manhole at location R12 continued on this day.
• At the time of our arrival our representative observed that work was in progress with duct bank being backfilled and compacted using a trench compactor.  Density testing was performed using a nuclear density gauge.
• Density test results indicate that the compacted materials met the requirement of 90% of a standard proctor (ASTM 689).
