Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.

The following observations were observed on the site this day:

• The placement and compaction of backfill for Section 2 was in progress using CP54B, RA30, D51PX and CAT330 equipment.
• The continued trench was excavated on the northeast side of the existing detention pond with a sewer water line and manhole installed.
• A 1-foot lift was placed and compacted using SAKAI SV 204T compaction equipment.
• At the time of arrival our representative observed that the work was in progress for Section 2 with a 2-foot lift being placed and compacted using CP54B and D51PX compaction equipment.
• Proof-rolling tests were conducted for Section 2.  Our representative observed that these soils were pumping/rutting at the surface due to high in-situ moisture contents.
