Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.

The following observations were observed on the site this day:

• The placement and compaction of backfill for Section 2 was in progress using CP54B, RA30, D51PX and CAT330 equipment.
• The new trench was excavated on the northeast side of the existing detention pond where a sewer water line and sewer main have been installed.
• A 1-foot lift was placed and compacted at the trench using SAKAI SV 204T compaction equipment.
• At the time of arrival our representative observed that the work was in progress in Section 2 with 2-foot lifts being placed and compacted using CP54B and D51PX compaction equipment.
• A proof-rolling test was performed at Section 2. Our representative observed that the surficial soils were pumping/rutting in some areas displaying soft soils with high moisture contents.
