Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.

The following observations were observed on the site this day:

• The placement and compaction of backfill for Section 2 was in progress using CP54B, RA30, D51PX and CAT330 equipment.
• At the time of arrival our representative observed that work was in progress in Section 2 with a 2-foot lift being placed and compacted using CP54B and D51PX equipment.
• Proof-rolling was conducted for Section 3. Our representative observed that surficial soils were pumping/rutting in some areas of the section with the underlying soils high in moisture content.
