Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.

The following observations were observed on site this day:

• The placement and compaction of backfill soils for an 8115.8 square-foot area was in progress using a sheeps-foot (CP54B), (RA30), (D51PX) and (CAT330) rollers.
• At the time of arrival our representative observed that work was in progress with 12-inch lifts being placed and compacted using a sheeps-foot (CP54B) and (D51PX) equipment.
• Density tests results indicate that the compacted material met the project requirements of 95% of the maximum dry density obtained by a standard proctor ASTM 698.
