Observations/Finding

At the request of the client’s representative, our AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative visited the job site to observe the contractor’s work activities from a quality standpoint to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals and conducted QC testing per the project drawings and specifications.  The following observations were made on site this shift:

• CWM continues to mill the NLVR location on the west face of the taxiway contractor using milling machine to mill the asphalt and stockpile on site.
• CWM strip forms after the concrete setup in phase 7A, lane 1 and 3, and preparation the form work for lane 4.
• BBH formed up for the sign base of A37 to place concrete.
• ABC sawed the joints for lane 1 and 3.
• Kelly poured the concrete incase the under drains from the edge of the purposed taxiway running east toward manhole A-3.
