Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.

The following observations were observed on the site this day.

• • Construction of a Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Retaining wall was in progress with 6 steps of the mentioned (MSE) retaining wall completed, each step with 18 inches height.
  • Work was in progress with 1-foot lifts being placed and compacted for the backfilling of the MSE Retaining wall using sheeps-foot (BW145D) and (BMP8500) equipment.
  • Placement and compaction of fill soil at the vicinity of Lots #46 through 49 was in progress using sheeps-foot (CP56B), (D6K2) and (QT-4) equipment.
  • Excavation operations for the temporary pond between Lots #19 and 20 continued.
  • Density tests results indicated that the compacted materials met the project requirements of 95 percent of the minimum dry density obtained by the (Standard Proctor ASTM 698).
