Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.

The following observations were observed on the site this day.

• Placement and compaction of backfill soil for sewer pipe trench between MH A7 to MH A8 was in progress.
• Placement of 3 cubic yards of 4000psi concrete for reinforcement of sewer pipes at MH A7 was continued.
• Construction of a Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Retaining wall was in progress and three steps of the mentioned (MSE) retaining wall was already completed and each step size is 18 inches.
• Work was in progress with 1 foot lifts being placed and compacted at the backfilling area of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Retaining wall using sheeps-foot (BW145D) and (BMP8500) equipment.
• Placement, backfilling and compaction of soils in the vicinity of Lots #43 to #49 was in progress using sheeps-foot (CP56B), (D6K2) and (QT-4) equipment.
• Density tests results indicated that the compacted materials met the project requirements of 95 percent of the minimum dry density obtained by the (Standard Proctor ASTM 698).
