Observations/Finding

Our ASEC representative visited the site upon request by the contractor to observe the proof-rolling operations for the proposed roadway adjacent to Lots #15 – 21, near the beginning of the wetland boundary. A CAT 740B articulated dump truck loaded with soil was employed to conduct the proof-roll.

During the proof-roll, conducted across the designated area, it was observed that:

• The soil subgrade under the loaded dump truck showed no signs of severe deflection or rutting.
• The subgrade soils appear suitable for continued backfilling.

The subgrade displayed the necessary structural integrity and stability, indicating that the current conditions are conducive for the contractor to continue with backfilling operations.
