Observations/Finding

At the request of the client’s representative, our AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative, Amin Azimi visited the job site to observe the contractor’s work activities from a quality standpoint to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals and conducted QC testing per the project drawings and specifications.  The following observations were made on site this shift:

• A proof-roll observation was performed in the Ramp 20, phase 4 area, southwest of lane 16 and line 17 Approximately (50’x160)’ A fully loaded tandem-axle truck was used to proof-roll the above-mentioned subgrade with multiple passes.  Severe yielding and deflection were not observed during the proof-roll at all areas mentioned above.
• Our representative along with Thamos of ATLQA observed the proof-roll.

• Graded Aggregate Base was being prepped for CTB use.
• Finished installing under drains in all Phase 4,
