Observations/Finding

AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative Ram Mogulla visited the site at the request of Jackson Demolition representative Josh Kelly. The undersigned representative was present to observe, verify and document the ongoing project activities. (reference drawing E720661 S1 – R5, E720659 S1-R5.)

During the visit, the following observations were made:

1. Eight hundred and sixty four (864) cubic yards of fill material was received and placed as lift (25) in section 2 and lift 27 of section 1, basement area G7 (drawing E720661) of the basement. The materials were placed and compacted in general accordance with ITP-001.
2. A total of 3 nuclear density tests and a Proctor check were performed on this day.  Testing was performed on Lift 26 in section 1 and lift 25 of section 2. Testing locations and test results are reported in a stand-alone report.
3. Workday and fill placement ended early and due to rain and lightning. The contractor sealed the placed fill with a smooth drum roller in anticipation of this rain event.
4. The writer failed to take pictures on this day before the lightning and rain on this day.
