On 08-01-2023, the AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative visited the Carodel Farms site to conduct quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to ensure compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on-site:

1. Installation of Manhole A-9: The contractor installed Manhole A-9 with 4” stone (057) at the bottom before placing the manhole. The quality control representative visually inspected the installation and noted that it met the project requirements.
2. Installation of HDPE Pipe: Between Manhole A-8 and Manhole A-9, the contractor installed HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) pipe. Before placing the pipes, the contractor prepared the bottom with 4” stone and also covered the pipes with 4” stone. The quality control representative visually assessed the installation and confirmed that it was performed according to the project specifications.
3. Drilling Operations: We recommended to the contractor to do excavate a few pit tests on Lots 60 through 68 near the road to determine the exact mass of rocks in this area so as not to let the driller do unnecessary work and save time. No appreciable rock was encountered in these areas.  Contractor then began to lay pipe within the street.
