On 7-27-2023, the AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative visited the Carodel Farms site to conduct quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to ensure compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on-site:

1. Installation of Manhole C-5: The contractor installed Manhole C-5 with 4” stone (057) at the bottom before placing the manhole. The quality control representative visually inspected the installation and verified that the subgrade soils were suitable for placement.
2. Installation of HDPE Pipe: Between Manhole C-5 and Manhole C-4, contractor installed HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) pipe. Before placing the pipes, the contractor prepared the bottom with 4” stone and also covered the pipes with 4” stone. The quality control representative visually assessed the installation and confirmed that it was performed according to the project specifications.
3. Backfilling Operations: The contractor placed backfill soil in Detention Pond 1C and open space zone x. The quality control representative visually observed the backfilling operations.
4. Drilling Operations: Driller 1 drilled a total of 46 holes with a drilled area of 2352 cubic feet. The hole spacing length was 7 feet by 7 feet, and the hole diameter was 3.5 inches.
