Our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative visited the Carodel Farms site to conduct quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to ensure compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on-site:

1. Installation of manhole 50: The contractor installed manhole 50 with 4 inches of #57 stone placed at the bottom before placing the manhole. The quality control representative visually inspected the installation and verified that it met the project requirements.
2. Installation of HDPE Pipe: Between manhole 50 and manhole 37, the contractor installed HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) pipe. Before placing the pipes, the contractor prepared the bottom with 4 inches of #57 stone and also covered the pipes with 4 inches of stone. The quality control representative visually assessed the installation and confirmed that it was executed according to the project specifications.
3. Backfilling Operations: The contractor placed backfill for Detention Pond 1C and Detention Pond 1B. The quality control representative visually inspected the backfilling operations in accordance with project requirements.
4. Drilling Operations: Driller 1 drilled a total of 60 holes with a drilled area of 2,940 cubic feet. The hole spacing length was 7 feet by 7 feet, and the hole diameter was 4 inches. Driller 2 drilled 18 holes with a drilled area of 882 cubic feet. And performed some rock tests on Lots #62 to 72.
