Observations/Finding

Our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative conducted a quality control inspection and testing visit to the Carodel Farms site today. Visual observation techniques were employed to ensure adherence to project drawings/specifications, relevant codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made during the on-site inspection:

1. Rock Volume Determination:
The determination of rock volume was carried out today, based on the attached drill logs. Both the depths to the top of the rock and termination were recorded. The calculated rock volume is detailed below:

• Volume: 96,768 cubic feet
• Grid Spacing:

– Length: 8 feet
– Width: 8 feet

• Average Thickness: 12 feet
• Total Number of Holes: 126

2. Blast Quantity:
The blasting process was conducted today, with a total quantity of rock shot calculated to be 5223 cubic yards.
