Observations/Finding

AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative Avinash Bandam visited the site at the request of Jackson Demolition representative Josh Kelly. The undersigned representative was present to monitor, verify and document the ongoing project activities. (Reference drawing E720661 S1 – R8, E720659 S1-R8.)

During the visit, the following observations were made:

1. Two thousand six hundred and ten (2610) cubic yards of fill materials were placed for lift (18) in section 1 area B7 (E720661 S1-R8). The materials were placed and compacted in accordance with ITP-001, and the fill area is highlighted in brown as depicted in the attached drawing.
2. The basement area was probed using hand probe and performed one moisture density test in section 1 area B7 of the basement and a check plug has performed to verify the compaction, moisture content percentage with respect to the ASTM standards of the Proctor curves. The test locations are depicted in the attached drawing.
3. The soil brought in to the site was noted to be different from the material brought in yesterday.  Based on our conversations with Jackson Demolition, we understand the material is being brought in from a different borrow source. A sample of this material has been sent to the lab for testing and will be performed by others.
