Observations/Finding

At the request of the client’s representative, AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative, Amin Azimi visited the job site to observe and monitor the contractor’s work activities from a quality standpoint to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals and conducted QC testing per the project drawings and specifications.  The following observations were made on site this shift:

• Work was being performed in the Ramp 2 – Phase 4 and sewer enhancements of the project on this day.
• Performed concrete coring and filling and logger reading for Ramp 2 – Phase 4.
• Our representative, along with Depto of ATLQA and ATLNext representative Hazim and CWM rep Brandon observed the process.
• In addition, our ASEC representative observed straight edge testing of Ramp 2 – Phase 4.
• Also observed the installation of pipe between MH#3 and MH#9 and contractor installation of MH#3.  GAB compaction was not ready for testing today.
