Observations/Finding

Our AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING representative visited the site at the client’s request to observe utility pipe and manhole placement.
During the day the contractor attempted to join manhole A2 to A3 with a pipe for a depth ranging from 14 – 16 feet and before placing the manhole and pipe,
the contractor placed extra stone 6 to 8″ in depth at the bottom and covered the pipe with stone prior to backfilling. A CP-C323C compactor was used to compact these soils during our evaluation.
