Observations/Finding
Summary
*
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day. Seven Hills: Amenities: Due to the excessive rainfall in the preceding days, the jobsite remained saturated with excessive moisture. To address this, the contractor began clearing the slopes and facilitating the drying process using a Komatsu PC360LC excavator and a Komatsu 39PX dozer. With the Komatsu Pc360LC, the wet soil at the end of the road is cut and transported with the Dump Trucks for quick drying. These machines were utilized to effectively remove excess moisture, level the surface, and prepare the site for the next phase of construction. The combination of equipment helped improve site conditions by enhancing drainage and accelerating the drying of the wet soil. Savannah Pipeline Company has initiated the installation of stormwater lines at the amenities job site, located between the clubhouse and tennis court area. Excavation work is being carried out using the Kobelco SK350LC excavator. backfilling is started and Compaction efforts are being executed with a Hamm Sheep Toe compactor and a remote-controlled compactor, while smaller, confined spaces are compacted using a jackhammer to achieve the required density and stability on every layer of fill. For the day’s progress, the installation of manholes A7, A8, A9, A10, MH3 has been successfully completed. These installations have been carefully followed by the team, with additional work planned for the following day to ensure continued progress on the project. every layer of fill is tested with

Compaction testing was performed using a Troxler nuclear density gauge, along with general probing using a 3/8″ diameter probe rod.

Density test results indicate that compacted materials did meet the project requirement of 95% of the maximum dry density obtained by a Standard Proctor ASTM 698. compaction suggestions are made to the superintendent, also the Visual analysis of probe rod check and dump truck Proof rolling is approved taking the instructions from the Head office

Nature Walk: Lot 1036 Lot 1036 was inspected for basement concrete planning. The job site appears to be fully saturated due to recent rainfall. Photographs and relevant site conditions have been documented and shared with the Office In-Charge, Ken. Lot 995 has been cleared for excessive dirt using a Komatsu 39PXI dozer, with particular attention given to the slopes. We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project.
