Summary *

<h2>Introduction</h2>
The undersigned ASEC representative conducted a site investigation on August 30, 2023, to assess the soils in Areas 1 and 4. The objective was to characterize the soil conditions and provide soil classification recommendations.
<h2>Topsoil Description for Area 4</h2>
The topsoil in Area 4 predominantly consisted of brown clayey sand intermixed with organic material, precisely root matter and small boulders (4' diameter or less).
<h2>Contractor Operations for Area 4</h2>
Area 4 serves as the staging area mentioned in the previous report, with dimensions approximately 404 feet in length and 50 feet in width. The initial topsoil depth was 4 feet.

<h3>Engineering Recommendations for Area 4</h3>
It is recommended that the topsoil be excavated and utilized for landscaping topsoil within the subdivision or non-structural fill.
<h2>Soil Description for Area 1</h2>
The soil in Area 1 consisted of wet red and gray clays and muck intermixed with roots and small boulders (diameter of 4' or less).
<h2>Contractor Operations for Area 1</h2>
Area 1 measures approximately 50 feet in width, 30 feet in length, and had an initial depth of 2.5 feet. The contractor utilized a dozer to blade 3 feet of material from the surface and relocated it to the southern boundary of the lot (in a non-structural area).
