President / Principle Engineer
As Principal Engineer of ASEC, Mr. Mogulla is ultimately responsible for the quality delivery of the full range of services provided by ASEC. Mr. Mogulla has over 17 years of professional experience as a Geotechnical and Materials Engineer and Project Manager. Prior to founding ASEC, his career included various leadership and key positions at some of the most respectable firms in the southeast United States.
Mr. Mogulla has worked in virtually all aspects of geotechnical consulting such as field inspections (various types of foundation inspections), geotechnical exporations, preparing project budgets and proposals, developing and coordinating field explorations, and writing and reviewing geotechnical reports.
Mr. Mogulla’s engineering experience includes many of the signature projects along the East coast and South America. Types of projects include commercial and retail developments, high-rise office buildings, stadiums, sports facilities, nuclear power plants, reservoirs and dams, airport facilities and infrastructure improvements. He has experience with various types of foundations including high-capacity drilled piers and piles, soil and rock supported footings and mat foundations, retaining walls, ground improvement techniques and deep excavations. He has personally inspected most types of foundation systems and earth retaining structures. With this hands-on experience and intimate knowledge of materials, he has been able to provide innovative and value engineered solutions to most of his projects
