Observations/Finding

Sever filling activities were conducted throughout the day and density tests were done as usual. After several cut and fill, the road reached to a subgrade a as shown in the figure below. Density measures takes showed a compaction as high as 99%.

More over, a temporary pond filled by water and surrounding which is a location for Lot#70 and a road was observed by me and Ram to check how the fill will have to be. During the inspection a 7.0 feet pit showed unwanted materials. The proof role conducted also showed a slightvmovement suggesting lose and wet material underneath. After several discussion with the Superintendent of the Grading Co. we reached a nosensus.

Considering about 20+ feet fill, there is no risk for the building pad as well as for the road if we fill a proper and suitable material with reasonable moisture content compatible with the proctor.

Therefore, the Grading Co Superintendent agreed to drain the water and fill the specified area. For more detail please see the attached pictures.
