Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

• Upon arrival, the contractor was engaged in excavation using a Komatsu PC 360LC to the west of the project site. They were also doing cut with a Komatsu PC210LC. Dirt was being transported with two tandem dump trucks, while dozing and leveling were performed with a Komatsu 39PX and a D85EX. Compaction work was carried out using a CAT 563 E. Boulders are chopped to small stones with Deere 350G.
