Observations/Finding

At the request of the client’s representative, our AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative visited the job site to observe the contractor’s work activities from a quality standpoint to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals and conducted QC testing per the project drawings and specifications.  The following observations were made on site:

• A proof-roll observation was performed before fill placement for the area of Lots #169, 170, 171, 172, 98 and 99.
• A fully loaded tandem-axle dump truck was used to proof-roll the above-mentioned subgrade with multiple passes across the area.

No severe yielding and/or deflection was observed during the proof-roll in the areas mentioned above.

In addition, work progressed for detention ponds 1 and 2.  Fill placement for Lots #98 and 99 began this day.
