Observations/Finding

As requested, our AS Engineering & Consulting representative was on site to observe daily activities.  Today the following was observed:

• The placement of backfill of soil for DOA Fiber infrastructure from east of N13 and south of runway 27 south continued on this day.
• At the time arrival our representative observed the work on progress with duct bank backfill being placed and compacted using a trench compactor and compaction testing using a nuclear density gauge.
• Density test results indicate that the compacted materials met the requirement of 90% compaction versus a standard proctor (ASTM 689).
