Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.

The following observations were observed this day:

• The placement and compaction of backfill for Section 1 was completed using CP54B compaction equipment.  This area was proof-rolled with no severe pumping and/or rutting observed.
• The placement and compaction of backfill for Section 3 was in progress using CP54B, RA30, D51PX and CAT330 compaction equipment.
• Work was also in progress at Section 3 with 1-foot lifts being placed and compacted using CP54B and D51PX equipment.
