Observations/Finding

The undersigned ASEC representative was on site as requested by the Client and/or Contractor to observe the placement of fill soils on Addison Court and adjacent lots. The soils placed consist of a red slightly micaceous silty fine to medium sand with trace of clay. General probing was used for initial assessment, which did not exceed two inches in deflection.

Six compaction tests were performed on-site, with the following test parameters:

• Test 1: Wet density 118 pcf, Dry density 99.2 pcf, Moisture content 18.0%
• Test 2: Wet density 121 pcf, Dry density 101.7 pcf, Moisture content 19.5%
• Test 3: Wet density 119 pcf, Dry density 100.0 pcf, Moisture content 18.5%
• Test 4: Wet density 122 pcf, Dry density 102.1 pcf, Moisture content 20.0%
• Test 5: Wet density 117 pcf, Dry density 98.3 pcf, Moisture content 17.5%
• Test 6: Wet density 120 pcf, Dry density 100.5 pcf, Moisture content 19.0%

A soil sample was obtained and returned to our laboratory to perform a Moisture-Density Relationship.
