Concrete Placement Information

Location(S):
Testing: 1 Set of concrete specimens (5 Cylinders per set) were cast during the cast-in-place concrete pour at the above referenced location, in accordance with ASTM C31. The cylinders will remain on site for the initial 24-48 hrs curing.

Remarks: Our ASEC representative arrived on site as requested to observe: the placement of 10 cubic yards of concrete for the sidewalk on the south side of the island in front of Cogburn Park. A slump of 4 inches was measured and batch to placement time was less than 90 minutes. Concrete temperature was approximately 78 degrees, Unit Weight of Concrete tested on this day: 146.0 pcf Concrete placed on this date appeared to be placed in compliance with project specifications with regard to temperature, slump, air content, and batch to placement time. The following samples were obtained for compressive strength testing in our lab. Set A 1 set of 5 cylinders
