Observations/Finding

The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on site today:

Upon arrival it was observed that the site detention pond was being demucked with minor changes to elevation being made with a Komatsu PC290 excavator. A pump was being used to remove standing water.  Soils were being removed from the detention pond and transported to another on site location with a single off road dump truck.

A request was made by Kendrick the temporary onsite manager of Estates at Old Friendship to proof-roll a section of Friendship Falls Way.  A loaded dump truck weighing approximately 24 tons was used to proof-roll between Station 14+00 and Station 20+00.  No major pumping or rutting was observed, and the contractor elected to continue fill placement.
