Observations/Finding
The site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals.
The ASEC representative performed foundation bearing tests for the below referenced footing areas. All referenced footings were found to have a soil bearing pressure of 2,500 psf.
A reinforcing steel inspection was performed on the following locations: (Lot #95 Pod 13). Reinforcing steel was observed to meet job specifications for required size, spacing, lap and cover. No discrepancies were noted.
If foundation soils become wet prior to concrete placement, it should be reevaluated by a geotechnical engineer or qualified soils technician. All loose fall-in soils or debris should be removed from foundations prior to concrete placement.
