Observations/Finding

An ASEC engineering technician arrived onsite as requested to perform an evaluation of shallow foundation subgrade conditions of footings located in the following location:

Suncity, Peachtree, Expedition Pod#17, Lot #3.

This evaluation was performed using a hand auger, dynamic cone penetrometer, and small diameter pro rod.

After conducting foundation bearing tests in the referenced footing areas, all referenced footings were found to have a soil bearing capacity of 2000 psf.

If foundation soils become wet prior to concrete placement, it should be reevaluated by a geotechnical engineer or qualified technician. All loose fall-in soils or debris should be removed from the footings prior to concrete placement.

DCP testing performed
