Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by the undersigned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawling/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals.
Upon arrival it was observed two crews working simultaneously one for storm drain and the other for sewer drain.
The first crew, storm drain was excavating and installing 16″ corrugated pipe. Four to Six inches (4″-6″) of #57 stone was being placed under and to the sides of the pipe. This was at C2-C3 at an elevation of approximately 865.
The second crew was also placing Four to Six inches (4″-6) of # 57 stone under and to the sides of the sewer pipe. This was located at C1-C2 at an elevation of approximately 870.
No backfilling or compacting of either area would be started until next week.
It was discussed with onsite personnel that Material for waterlines are on backorder for approximately 3 weeks putting this part of the project on hold.
